Now I’m playing with the big kids. If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve updated my commenting system to jump ahead to the 21st century. Watch out fellow bloggers, I’m on the move.

Unfortunately, this upgrade seems to have wiped out all my old fashioned-ly posted comments, soooo…I start anew. I don’t know what I’m going to do having lost my whopping 15 comments, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

Enjoy the upgrades!

  • yeah i had that happen too... when i changed my disqus account name and reinstalled it i lost everything. i am in the same boat though not very many comments. not sure why it happened either. i really like the disqus system but i still haven't figured it all out yet :P
  • I'm still playing with it. The way I understand it is that it saves all your comments in a central location? Then you can see all your comments in one spot. Why this is handy...not too sure yet, lol. I thought that all your comments were saved in the wordpress admin anyways.

Well, so far I think it looks slick, and it seems to be working pretty well. Sooo....I'll keep it :)
  • i think it has bunch of features that i don't use correctly or to their full potential. i figured it made sense for the long term to be using a good tool, just in case i need the other stuff.
  • i can't remember what I did, but there is an option to get your old comments to show up.
just snoop around in the back end...it was really easy for me to find and you are much more web savvy than I.
  • @zoeDisco: You're flattery will get you everywhere...but alas, I haven't found the cleverly hidden (probably in the open) switch that you speak of. Maybe you can walk me through it?
  • gladly!
